The man with the beard
Looks a little bit weird,
His phone in his hand,
His head in the sand,
Ignoring his wife,
Oh hell, what a life,
They sit in their chairs,
Ignoring my stares.
But the coffee is good.
The order is tea,
And the water is free,
A mat on the floor,
And a sign on the door,
Paintings for sale,
On the wall by the rail,
Faux plants in a jar,
Daily news at the bar.
And the coffee is good.
The woman in pink,
Takes her plate to the sink,
She glides like a queen,
And I peek, but I’m seen,
By the man with the beard,
Who still looks quite weird,
While his wife is ignored,
No matter, she’s bored.
Still….
The coffee is good.
